Frequently Asked Questions

Tenants are responsible for the following monthly charges over and above residential rent.  Hot and Cold Water usage (metered), refuse and effluent (fixed charges), prepaid electricity, gas refill (if applicable), and parking (if applicable).

Before taking occupation, you will need to pay the following:

  • Rent and deposit

  • Admin fee – R1,000 (non-refundable)

  • Key deposit – R200 (refundable)

  • Refuse removal – R140.30 (incl. VAT)

  • Effluent – R412.18 (incl. VAT)

  • Parking – R300 (if applicable)

Yes, parking is available to residents, at a cost of R300 per bay per month. Please enquire about availability on application.

Yes, we provide all tenants with uncapped high-speed Wi-Fi. If you would like to upgrade your connection, you may do so directly with the service provider.

Yes, all our buildings are equipped with on-site laundromats.  There is a standard applicable cost per wash and dry cycle.

Visitors must sign in with security and leave a valid form of identification (such as a driver’s licence or ID card), which will be securely stored and returned when they leave. Each unit may host up to 2 visitors at a time, with only 1 permitted to stay overnight. All visitors must leave by 22:00 on weekdays and 23:00 on weekends.
  • Bachelor flat: Maximum of 3 persons (no more than 2 adults)

  • One-bedroom flat: Maximum of 4 persons (no more than 2 adults)

  • Two-bedroom flat: Maximum of 6 persons (no more than 4 adults)

  • Three-bedroom flat: Maximum of 8 persons (no more than 6 adults)

Our units are unfurnished but come equipped with a stove and an oven.

No, pets are not allowed on the premises. However, guide dogs are permitted.
Yes, all Qliving buildings have on-site gyms available for residents to use.

We offer both 6-month* and 12-month lease options.  *T’s & C’s apply.

No, all Qliving buildings are designated non-smoking areas. This includes all tobacco products. Designated smoking areas are available outside the buildings.
